Global Dance Electronic - One week ago today we were all under the magical night life of Electronic Music, Lasers, Fog Machines, Amazing Art Installations, and Beautiful People. You can say we were at a “Rave” party but we were actually Beyond Wonderland. The NOS Event’s Center was turned into a magical getaway on March 19th, 2011. It was filled with Art Installations that none of us have never seen before; Blowing out fire, interactive touchscreen sequencers, three dimensional LED towers, ceilings on fire that warmed us up as the night cooled, and 186 foot long spiraled tunnel covered with 4,000 feet of white lights. Even the stages them selfs for full of Magic. Queens Domain-Madhatters Castle-Caterpillars Garden-Chess Village-Cheshire Woods had an amazing vibe with amazing Electronic Dance Music touching our skin and making our body’s rock to the rhythm. Seeing the smiles on people made my heart warmed up so bright you thought i was a human light show. The costumes on people brought on a whole new style of fashion to this Massive. Seeing girls in lingerie, mini skirts, and body glitter had all the guys fired up. As nightfall came the whole place was lit up as if we were at a Disco, the people were smiling, Music was banging, and the scent of the cold air had us hypnotized. At 9:45PM the NOS event’s center was brighten up by the beautiful Fireworks, it was truly a romantic moment but for others it was a Magical Experience. The headliners of the night included Kaskade, Showtek, Joker W/MC Nomad, Richie Hawtin, and Bad Boy Bill. They all brought an amazing set jam packed with classics, remixes, and new singles. What really made my night was getting to witness the Minimal-Techno legend Mr. Richie Hawtin also known by his alter ego Plastikman. His incredible set blew me away and had me in Aww for the whole 1 hour and 30 minute set, i never witness something so incredible in my life. Mr. Hawtin had me in an era where Raves had just begun and were only barely getting known through out the Warehouse’s. Honestly, the WHOLE Chess Village had me in Aww therefor i will never forget it and thats what made Beyond Wonderland amazing. As the night ended, i walked outside with thousands of people tired, sweaty, cold but with smiles on the faces of these Ravers. I could tell this Massive was a true experience for the people and Im glad i could share it with them. I will never forget it. As i walk towards my car something caught my eye on the ground so i picked it up and read “Electric Daisy Carnival Fri. June 24th & Sat. June 25th 2011 Las Vegas”.

Beyond Wonderland is FINALLY tomorrow, Saturday March 19th, and tickets are officially Sold Out. A Little Brief History of the Electric Daisy Carnival - Over 14 years Thousands of beautiful people attended EDC and has helped it grow and grow to what it is today! The original idea came from DJ Steve ‘Kool-Aid’ who ran an underground rave promotion company from the late 80’s to early 90’s. One of his parties was in fact the legendary Electric Daisy Carnival, Years later Co-Founder of Insomniac, Pasquale Rotella, resurrected the fan favorite in 1997 and brought back all the excitement it once had years ago.
